Where I Was On 9/11‏

I Was Living In San Francisco. I Was In 8th Grade and 13 at The Time. I Was Getting Ready To Go To Luther Burbank Middle School. I Was Heading Out The Door and My Mother Told Me To Come Watch The TV In The Living Room. I Saw On The TV a Bunch of People Running, Dust Was Right Behind Them. My Mother Said That There Was an Accident In New York. She Said She Hopes I Have a Good Day at School. On My Way To School The Crossing Guard Told Me "There Is No School Today, Because of The Tragedy In New York". I Remember That Word Per Word. I Ran Back Home and Told My Mom That. We Sat Down Together In The Living Room To Watch The TV. They Were Saying That a Plane Hit The World Trade Center. My Mother Had To Go To The Hospital Because My Sister Was About To Give Birth To My Niece Nayeli. I Went Into My Room Not Wanting To Think About The Tragedy, So I Turned On My TV To Watch Music Videos. I Turned On VH1 and They Had News About New York. I Switched To MTV and They Had News About New York. Every Single Channel Without Exception, Had News About New York. I Remember The News Saying That One of Those Planes Was Headed Towards San Francisco and I Got Scared. I Will Always Remember Watching a Plane Hit The South Tower. When My Father Came Home, I Told Him That I Didn't Go To School Because of What Happen In New York. He Said That He Heard About It at Work. I Saw President Bush Give a Speech About The Attack On TV. At Night My Mother Called. She Said She Will Be Staying at The Hospital Until My Sister Gives Birth, She Also Said That She Was So Scared That She Didn't Want Me To Go To School The Next Day. I Will Never Forget The Day of September, 11th 2001.
